Kat’s Lobster Shack. The Barrington-based crew took on a stellar sleight of luscious lobster roll restaurants from all along the South Shore, but after our prestigious panel of celebrity judges taste-tested each and every entry Capt. Kat’s Lobster Roll took home the title! OUTSTANDING INDEED!!! Be sure to put Capt. Kat’s Lobster Shack on your Must Visit list and try one for yourself. You the lookout of Lobster? Then we highly recommend you make tracks along the Lighthouse Route to the heart of beautiful Barrington, Nova Scotia. It is, after all, the Lobster Capital of Canada and it’s also the home of Capt. Kat’s Lobster Shack where scrumptious seafood dishes and a wonderfully welcoming atmosphere are always on the menu.

In fact, except for February 2nd when she’s out making headlines and leaving those land-bound groundhogs in her wake, Lucy can be found swimming around at Capt. Kat’s Lobster Shack – meeting, greeting and posing for pictures whenever possible. (Sorry NO autographs, please!)
